Family birthday celebrations
Our family took a weekend rental of The Habit for a combined 18th and 60th birthday celebrations, and it was perfect for our purpose. Twenty of us were spread across the various bedrooms and every one slept comfortably and found some delight in their room.
All the nooks and crannies, such as the games room, provided places for small groupings to get together and catch up while the main room let us all dine together. We also ate outside on the terrace on one evening.
The house is ideally placed for the beach, the harbour, and the High Street so we popped in and out all day exploring the town. I really don’t like being stuck in the middle of nowhere and this is so handy overlooking the town.

50th Birthday
Just to say we had a wonderful stay at the Habit. It's a fantastic place for celebrations, with amazing space for being together but also nice space for quietness and privacy. And situation is perfect. I would definitely recommend.

75th Birthday
We spent a long weekend at the Habit to celebrate a 75th Birthday. Our group was aged from 8 to 76 and included teenagers and young adults. We can honestly say everyone had a fantastic time as there was something for us all to do regardless of age.
We were a short stroll away from the amusements and bouncy castles for the children, the bars for the teenagers and the adults enjoyed sitting in the sun in the garden as well as playing table tennis and pool in the games room.
Tommy G Catering provided a wonderful meal on the Saturday night for everyone and on the Friday we ate at the amazing Italian restaurant a 2 minute walk from the property. And for breakfast we tried both Weatherspoons and Adeles - both of which were great.
Really comfortable beds, amazing showers and fabulous spaces helped make the weekend one to remember.
We would highly the Habit particularly for multi-generation family groups.

We spent a very enjoyable week at The Habit with my children and grandchildren. The house was perfect for all of to use with plenty of space and great facilities.
All the family enjoyed the games room, which was especially useful on the rainy days.
The position of the house is great, with lovely views of the sea and close proximity to shops and restaurants. We had a lovely meal at the family run Italian restaurant down the road & they were very welcoming to the children and accommodated for our large group at short notice.
I would highly recommend The Habit for a large mixed age group holiday.”
